Entering the Building

From the first-time guest parking, the closest entry door is the main door marked by the large blue First Congregational Church sign.

Once you enter through the main doors, you will see a kiosk immediately to your right marked “GUEST SERVICES.” You don’t have to stop there unless you have questions or require assistance. But if you do, and identify yourself as a first-time guest, they’ll have a special gift for you.

We have signs everywhere! Look for the big banner that says FIRST KIDS. That will lead you to a kiosk where our children’s team will register your children for the program. This will take a few minutes, so be sure to get there a few minutes early.

About Our Music

First Congregational Church services start with contemporary Christian music featuring a band with guitars, drums, keyboards. Our gifted musicians and singers will provide a spiritually moving musical foundation for everyone to join in.  It’s all for one purpose—not to experience a band, but to experience God through our times of singing.

Other FAQs

Our attendees come in everything from shorts and flip flops to dresses and slacks – so come in whatever you’re comfortable wearing! We’re just excited for you to join us! We’re confident that you’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

We want you to feel welcome at First Congregational Church. But we also want you remain anonymous as you need to as you check things out. You’ll never be asked to stand up, identify yourself, do the hokey-pokey, or anything else that might make you feel uncomfortable.

As our guest, we do not expect any money from you.  We will have an offering during the service, but we encourage you to let the baskets pass you by. The offering is a way for the First Congregational Church family to respond to God and join the mission of the church through their giving. If you’re new, we don’t expect you to give. Our service is a gift to you.

If you do consider First Congregational Church your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider regular giving. You can give by check or cash at weekend services or any time during the week when you’re on campus, or you can set up an online giving account on searsportfcc.org/giving/.

Offering boxes are located near the doors as you exit the worship center and in other convenient locations throughout our campus.
