Missions Committee Objectives:
- To sponsor mission awareness programs, including regular articles in the Landmark newsletter and reports to the congregation on special collections.
- To promote and publicize the outreach work of our church organizations.
- To coordinate the congregation’s participation in local and international mission projects including special needs and disaster relief.
Mission Statement:
To follow the teachings of Jesus Christ from Matthew 22:39,
“Love your neighbor as yourself.”
And from Matthew 25:35-36,40,
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”
“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
